Zuza Rozanska

Zuza Rozanska (b. 1985) is a collage artist and photographer based in Berlin. Exclusively using discarded materials she randomly finds - like books, magazines, bus tickets - her collages are pieced together from elements unique to her environment. Using the medium intuitively, she seeks to make sense in the synthesis of seemingly random elements rather than trying to impose a concrete meaning.

In her photography, Zuza Rozanska tries to capture the uniqueness of everyday experiences. The photos exhibited in Aus den Augen show glimpses of her 5-year stay in Israel: things that were once taken for granted, like the floor tiles of her Tel Aviv balcony, in hindsight seem like echoes from a past life, almost forgotten and yet dearly missed.

Her works have been shown in group exhibitions in Germany, Israel and Belgium
